Kundali Bhagya: All The Troubles Caused By Kritika’s Naivety In The Show!

Kundali Bhagya’s Kritika Luthra (Twinkle Vasisht), who is Kareena bua’s daughter and the sister of the Luthra brothers is quite pampered in the family. Shrishti (Anjum Fakih), Preeta (Shraddha Arya) and Kritika are very close, almost like sisters too. Kritika was the first one to notice the closeness between Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Preeta and was probably the first #PreeRan supporter on the show! But, besides being so good, there is a lot about her character that needs to be looked at carefully. She is sweet but extremely sensitive and completely naive. She can be smart at times but on most occasions, she is lost in her own world and ignorant of what is going on around her. And because she gets influences so easily, she has caused trouble for her and the whole Luthra family!

Let’s recall a few times when Kritika was too ignorant of what was happening around her:

Kritika not wanting to believe that Akshay could be a bad person

Even though Preeta exposed Akshay’s affairs and wrongdoings time and again, Kritika chose to ignore her friend and instead believed a person who had disappeared for a while! Preeta had to go through so much to gather evidence. She had to follow Akshay, she had to lie to her family, she had to put Shrishti and Sammy (Abhishek Kapur) at risk too, just to get the proofs against Akshay! And yet, when everything was out in the open, Kritika did not believe anything and was actually heartbroken when Akshay broke their marriage and left her on the mandap!

Preeta out of the Luthra house

Not only did Preeta have to go through an accident, she even had to go away from her husband because of Kritika. When Kritika was heartbroken, Kareena bua insulted Preeta and forced her to leave the house. No one objected to this, not even Rakhi. This made Preeta feel very insulted and under-appreciated. Sarla was extremely hurt and took her daughter away with her. Preeta and Karan had to part ways until he brought her back with the utmost respect. Preeta had to endure all the pain and insult all ‘cos of Kritika and her inability to recognise the truth!

Marrying and Bringing Prithvi into the Luthra house

Not only did she marry Prithvi in a dumb move, but she also believed him to be a good person and brought him into the Luthra house! That’s the worst thing to do because Prithvi hates the Luthras and is determined to destroy them from day one. His whole plan of getting Sherlyn (Ruhi Chaturvedi) married to Rishabh (Manit Joura) was to be able to destroy them. Now that he has a free pass into the Luthra house, he’ll use it to the fullest! He has also influenced Kritika to an extent that she actually believes that he has fallen for her.

Akshay’s murder drama and Preeta being in jail

Akshay’s murder might not be Kritka’s doing, but the whole drama has resulted from her decision to choose Akshay as her partner. After their wedding drama, Akshay returned to blackmail Kritika and Preeta was ready once again to fight the battle on her behalf. Now with Akshay’s murder investigation going on, Preeta is already in jail and we can’t help but blame Kritika for it. If she had stopped Akshay and shown some grit and strength, Akshay would never have returned, leave aside blackmail her.

Wake up, Kritika!

Kritika needs a wake-up call and she needs to remove her rose-tinted glasses and see life for what it is. Currently, she is just helplessly praying for a miracle to help Preeta get out of jail. Instead, if she could take some efforts and help Karan, there is a better chance for Preeta to be out of this mess.

She also needs to reevaluate her relationship with her “husband” Prithvi and really understand why others hate him so much. There have to be incidents and behaviours of Prithvi that have made him such a dislikable person and she needs to think long and hard about it, or she might just ruin her life and her family’s lives too… once again.
