On 13th January, everyone was colured in the Lohri vibes as the country rang in the occasion with their family members and their loved ones. The festival is centered around Punjabi’s wherein people welcome the harvest festival and also the passing away of the winter season. Illuminating bonfires, feasting celebratory cuisine, dancing, and gathering gifts are all part of the festivities. Lohri celebrations would hit a heightened peak of enthusiasm in homes that have just experienced marriage or delivery.

Varun Dhawan, Kajol, Patralekhaa, Neha Dhupia, and film producer Ekta Kapor gave their followers a glimpse of their Lohri celebrations and conveyed their best wishes. Varun posted a little video of himself and his adorable pet sitting around a bonfire.

Kajol was seen clutching a platter full of popcorn and grinning with her family on her Instagram story. She was dressed in a traditional golden dress. She also shared a photo of herself and her family with the words “Mamas and babies and happies, Happy Lohri everyone.”

Neha Dhupia opted to post a picture with candles, champagne, and a bonfire as her Instagram story. Ekta Kapoor and Patralekhaa also wished their followers and uploaded pictures of a holy bonfire. It was Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao’s first Lohri celebration after their marriage, and it has special meaning for the couple.
