Maari 26 July 2023 Written Update: Devi’s Spirit Blesses Maari
Tears of joy well up in Maari’s eyes when Parvathy addresses her as her daughter and gifts her a sari for the nuptial night. Maari is delighted when Devi’s spirit appears before her and blesses her to be bountiful and takes a word from her.
In the previous episode of Maari, Maari is surprised when Murugan tells her that he loves Jasmine. Murugan thanks Maari for introducing him to Jasmine. Maari is happy for Murugan, but Hasini warns him to be careful of Jasmine. Soon after, Maari enters her room and finds Surya in a cheerful mood. Surya tells Maari that all these days he was guilt-ridden for not keeping up Tara’s promise to marry Jasmine. Surya is impressed with Murugan and happy to have found him as Jasmine’s life partner. Maari is pleasantly surprised when Surya holds her hand and tells her his plan to go on a honeymoon and promises to be a good husband as well as a good friend. Hasini enters the room and informs Maari and Surya about the astrologer’s visit. Tara scolds Hasini when she says she has summoned the astrologer to fix the time for Surya and Maari’s nuptial night. Jasmine and Sreeja sulk to hear Hasini talk and tells Tara to stop Siddharth and Maari’s nuptial night.

Thereafter, Jagdish blesses Surya and gifts him a pair of new ‘Veshti’ and a shirt. Jagdish feels helpless that he is unable to tell him the truth to Surya. Tara lashes out at Sankarapandi when he gives a foolish idea to stop Maari and Surya’s nuptial night. Sankarapandi refuses to help Hasini to decorate the room but agrees when Hasini calls out to Surya. Jasmine and Sreeja are surprised when Tara tells them and Sankarapandi to decorate Surya’s room. Tara assures them that she will stop Surya and Maari’s wedding night. Hasini dresses up Maari and praises her beauty. Surya blushes when Dinesh teases him. As Sreeja grumbles while decorating Surya’s room, Murugan’s entry into the room irks Jasmine. Murugan praises Jasmine and throws flowers at her. Unable to bear Murugan’s torture, Jasmine reluctantly decorates the room. Maari gets shy as Hasini teases her. Maari approaches Devi’s picture and seeks her blessings for the nuptial night. Maari is delighted when Devi’s spirit appears before her and blesses her to be bountiful and takes a word from her.
Tara is furious and thinks of a way to stop Maari and Surya’s nuptial night and gets annoyed when Maari enters the room dressed as a bride.
