Zee TV’s perfect saas-bahu saga Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein premiered from 2011 to 2013. The show showcased the story of a strict saas and simple bahus. The story revolved around an upper middle class Rajasthani joint family, the Kaushiks. who lived in Jaipur. Bindeshwari Kaushik is the man of the house who has five sons and four daughters-in-law. Karthik is her youngest son who she loves more than anything and is on a journey to find the best partner for him. The show Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein taught us that a family who faces troubles and problems together stays together forever. In the show, all the women are totally different from one another and unique in their own ways.

Bindeshwari Kaushik

Actress Vibha Chibber essayed the role of the strict and control freak saas, Bindeshwari Kaushik. She is the one who thinks she knows what’s best for her loved ones . Bindeshwari tries to dominate people by using her strong personality. In the patriarchal society, Bindeshwari is a strong-minded lady who has held the entire family together with love and care. Bindeshwari sets on a mission to find her paanchvi bahu–an honest, upright girl who has never lied. Bindeshwari rules the house with an iron hand but has a heart of gold.

Lovely

Vindhya Tiwari essayed the role of Lovely, wife of Bindeshwari’s youngest son Karthik. Lovely is a free-spirited and fun-loving girl who wants to live life on her own terms. She believes that it’s perfectly okay to lie to help someone. Lovely tries her best to win Bindeshwari’s heart and does everything to prove that she is the best wife and daughter in law.

Gehna

Gunn Kansara essayed the role of Gehna in the show who is Utkarsh’s wife and Bindeshwari’s first bahu. Gehna is grounded and stable. She is obedient and loves to spend time in the kitchen.

Nimmi

Swati Bajpai played the role of Nimmi, Bittu’s wife and Bindeshwari’s second bahu who is quite vicious.

Simran

Rubbina Shergiil played the role of Simran, Shivendu’s wife, who is intelligent and calm in nature.

Riya

Deeya Chopra essayed the role of Riya, Aditya’s wife. She is the untamed, London-returned bahu.
