Radhika Apte Announces Her New Film Mrs Undercover, A Spy Entertainer

Actress Radhika Apte, who recently starred in the web film OK Computer on Disney+ Hotstar, has made the announcement of her upcoming film. She made the announcement on her Instagram, via a post to wish her fans on Holi. Read on to know more about the announcement.

Radhika Apte, the versatile actress, who has earned a lot of name and famr for her acting skills, recently announced her next film, titled Mrs Undercover.  It will be a spy drama film, which is written and directed by Anushree Mehta. Radhika Apte uploaded a video on her Instagram to announce the post, where she initially wished her fans a Happy Holi, and the screen later changed into the poster of Mrs Undercover.

One of the producers of the film is Abir Sengupta, who has written and directed the film Indoo Ki Jawani, starring Kiara Advani. The poster of Mrs Undercover shows an Indian housewife wielding a gun from her saree, which is also addressed by Radhika Apte in the caption of her post. Her caption reads: “An Indian housewife with a gun is one deadly combination, ain’t it? Presenting the first look poster of my next film, a Spy- Entertainer that has me in & as #MrsUndercover!” Take a look at the post here:

From the poster, it also seems that the film will be set in Kolkata, West Bengal since the Howrah Bridge is visible in the background. The writer and director of the film, Anushree Mehta, has also written and directed the 41-minute short film, Unkahee. Reportedly, she has shared that she is happy with Radhika Apte’s casting in the film, and, Radhika Apte too has shared that she accepted the film as soon as she read the script because it has a lot of new things to offer.
