Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been one of the torchbearers of helping the needy and poor people during these dire times. What started as helping migrant workers who were stuck in their work-city, away from home, as COVID-19 hit the country, has now become a full-fledged job for Sonu, with the actor trying his best to help everyone he can. Amid all this, reports of the actor buying a luxury car worth Rs 3 Cr went viral and the internet went crazy on it. Finally, the actor has broken his silence and shared his bit on the report.
The reports claimed that Sonu Sood brought the luxury SUV, Mercedes Maybach GLS600, for his son as the young lad turned 18. In the video that went viral, Sonu can be seen getting into the black coloured vehicle and driving off. Reacting to these reports, the actor said, “There is no truth to this. I haven’t bought a car for my son. The car was brought to our home for a trial. We went on a test run. But that’s it. We didn’t buy the car.”

Reacting to the Father’s Day angle people were implying regarding the alleged gift, Sonu replied, “Why would I gift my son a car on Father’s Day? Shouldn’t he be gifting me something? After all, it’s my day! Jokes aside, the best Father’s Day gift my two sons can gift me is to spend the day with me. I hardly have any time for them. Now that they’re growing up, they have their own life. So spending the day together is a luxury that I think I’ve earned myself.” Now isn’t that just heart-melting?

On the work front, Sonu Sood has lately been doing a lot of Telugu films. In terms of Bollywood, the actor will next be seen as Chand Bardai in the Akshay Kumar starter historical action drama ‘Prithviraj’.
