SSR Case: NCB Detains Showik Chakraborty’s School Friend In Drug Probe

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) which is currently investigating the drug angle of Sushant Singh Rajput death case has detained Showik Chakraborty’s school friend Suryadeep Malhotra. According to the news reports, the Narcotics Control Bureau was planning the raid the entire night. Next morning, around 6 am, they raised Suryadeep’s house in Worli and arrested him. Sources also claim that several drug-related chats were found in Suryadeep’s phone and it is also alleged that Suryadeep used to visit Sushant Singh Rajput’s house to supply drugs. He will be interrogated by the NCB officials in the coming days.

Previously, the NCB team had arrested six more people in the drug probe. They have also arrested Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty after days-long investigation. Moreover, the agency raided in different parts of Mumbai and Goa on Saturday, September 12.
