Rajinikanth’s Health News: Megastar Rajinikanth successfully completed a surgery called Carotid Artery Revascularization at the hospital on Friday. A top official of Kauvery Hospital said that the actor is recovering quickly and is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
Rajinikanth was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Thursday after suffering from dizziness. In a statement, Dr Aravindan Selvaraj, Co-Founder and Executive Director said that he was examined by an expert panel team of doctors and he was advised to undergo carotid artery revascularization surgery.
Dr Selvaraj said on October 29 the procedure was done successfully and he was recovering. He was likely to be discharged from the hospital after a few days. On Thursday, Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee Rajinikanth had tweeted that he watched the film Annathe with his grandson to release on Wednesday. Last year, Rajinikanth did not venture into the much-awaited politics citing his health condition.
Kamal Haasan took to social media to wish his dear friend and brother Rajinikanth a speedy recovery. Kamal Haasan, who has been best friends with Rajinikanth for decades, took to his Twitter account to wish him a speedy recovery. His tweet in Tamil is translated as saying – My dear friend who has been admitted to the hospital, I wish you a speedy recovery and return home in perfect health.
Rajinikanth is waiting for the release of his upcoming film, Annaatthe. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the film will release in theatres on November 4, on the occasion of Diwali. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu and Prakash Raj.
