Varun Sharma And Manjot Singh Promise A Laughter Ride In Chutzpah Trailer, Fans Are Excited

Amid the Covid-19 lockdown, as we continue to stay indoors, the OTT content has emerged as a prime source of entertainment. And saying so, Fukrey fame Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh have teamed up for a new web show. The two actors will be featuring in Sony Liv’s episodic saga ‘Chutzpah’. Earlier last week, the first trailer of the show was released, garnering a great response from the masses. 

As seen in the trailer, Chutzpah portrays the burning desire of youth who are consumed by the Internet 24×7. Having a quirky stand, the show seems to be high on dark humour and relatable characters. While Varun and Manjot recreate the ‘Fukrey magic’, Chutzpah essays the dark side of the digital age. The show has become the talk of the internet, with netizens being excited about its release. Fans appreciated the trailer for its “different” approach while many others recalled ” Choocha and Lali” from Fukrey.

Chutzpah will mark the digital debut of Varun Sharma. Talking about the same, the actor shared how social media has become an “integral part” of life where people seek validation from everyone. “I am excited to make my OTT debut with a fantastic entertainer like Chutzpah,” Varun had said.

On the other hand, Manjot Singh highlighted the entertaining side of this web show. The actor shared that this Sony Liv series will make everyone recall the “chutzpah moments” of their life. Well, from the first glimpse, we can say that fans are in for a treat with this new conceptual show. The trailer of Chutzpah has marked an 8 million milestone within five days of its release.

Apart from Varun and Manjot, the show also features Elnaaz Norouzi, Tanya Maniktala, and Varun Tewari in pivotal roles. Helmed by Simarpreet Singh, Chutzpah will be streaming on Sony Liv from July 23.
