Vidya Balan Has A New Surprise For Her Fans, Announces Upcoming Film ‘Natkhat’

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is a talented artist. Ever since her unbeatable streak in doing bold, pathbreaking, women-centric movies, the actress has garnered more and more appraisals and fans. Now, with every release, Vidya Balan’s fans are waiting even more eagerly for her next. After her roaring OTT debut with Amazon Prime’s Sherni, Vidya is set to surprise her fans with yet another release in the form of Natkhat, premiering on Voot Select on July 24, 2021.

“What are you doing on 24th July? Mark your calendars because we are bringing you #Natkhat exclusively on Voot Select premiering at the Voot Select Film Fest!”, wrote Vidya Balan as she announced her next film, Natkhat on her Instagram profile. Directed by Shaan Vyas, this Vidya Balan film is going to be a part of the Voot Select Film Fest happening from July 24 to July 31, 2021.

All about Natkhat

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Vidya Balan herself, Natkhat, which translates to ‘brat’ is a story between a mother and her son. The story focuses on Vidya, as the mother, teaching her son, Sonu, about gender equality. Set against a rural landscape, Natkhat seems to be another pathbreaking movie under Vidya’s belt.

Natkhat is an Indian short film written by Vyas and Annukampa Harsh that premiered on YouTube as part of the ‘We Are One: A Global Film Festival’. And now the short will be premiering on Voot Select as a part of the Voot Select Film Fest on July 24, 2021.
