Won’t Transfer Sushant Singh Rajput Case To CBI, Says Maharashtra Govt

The Maharashtra Government has said that the Sushant Singh Rajput case, which is currently being investigated by the Mumbai Police, will not be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This was made clear by the state’s Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, who said, “As Home Minister, I want to say that Mumbai Police is investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput case. There is no question of transferring the case to the CBI.” Meanwhile, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has moved the Supreme Court to transfer the FIR made against her in Patna to Mumbai.
The FIR against Rhea Chakraborty has been filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father under sections, 306 (abetment of suicide), 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 380 (theft in dwelling house), 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating). Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide in his home in Mumbai on June 14. Following his death, his fans have been blaming his contemporaries for leading him to take such a step and have been demanding that the case be handed over to the CBI.
