Zee Bangla brings us numerous interesting television shows to watch every day. Over time, we have grown to deeply love the characters from our favourite shows and even watched their journeys of struggle, victory, love, parenthood and much more. One of the main categories for the Zee Bangla Sonar Sansar Awards 2021 is Sonar Sansar Nayika and its nominees are Radhika, Shyama, Rani Rashmoni, Jamuna, Lokkhi, Phirki, Soudamini and Alo. Given the flawlessness, strength and courage that each woman has shown in the shows, we can not help but wonder who your favourite female lead character is.
Radhika
We recently witnessed Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay‘s Radhika Sen put up a great fight against Joy, Payel, Trisha and Shonali. She was victorious and got them the punishment they truly deserved. Radhika, played by Swastika Dutta, also makes for a strong contender for the award due to her constant and commendable efforts at balancing her profession and her household duties.
Jamuna
Jamuna Dhaki‘s Jamuna, played by Sweta Bhattacharya, is no less either. From winning over her in-laws to handling all the needful responsibility flawlessly, Jamuna proved how deserving and capable a woman she is. Amidst all storms, she maintained composure and tackled every tricky situation with immense intelligence too.

Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni‘s Rani Maa, essayed by Ditipriya Roy, is a huge inspiration for numerous women. Her progressive mentality, bravery and tactfulness at all times helped bring about several crucial and productive changes in society and we love watching her story unfold every day.
Krishnakoli‘s Shyama, played by Tiyasha Roy, endured a lot of pain in life recently. We watched her confront criminals and be a victim of a horrible memory loss. Although she is still struggling, we are elated to see that she has finally returned to her family and her kind nature still continues to warm our hearts.
Lokkhi, Phirki
Phirki‘s Lokkhi (Aarja Banerjee) and Phirki (Sampriti Poddar) are one of our favourites. Their fight and triumph over the transgender-based societal issues were simply marvellous. The characters are not just inspiring but also showed us that anything is possible with courage and determination.
Soudamini
Soudamini’s Sansar‘s Soudamini, played by Susmili Acharjya, is fun and a chirpy yet emotionally intelligent little girl who never fails to entertain us all. She continues to blow our minds with exceptional entertainment and her adorable little tactics in every episode we watch. Her wit, understanding and inquisitiveness are just a bonus.
Alo
Alo Chhaya‘s Alo, played by Debadrita Basu, is another inspirational woman we just love. Her versatility, presence of mind, confidence, and warmth for every complex situation in life makes her a very strong competitor for the Sonar Sansar Nayika Award 2021.
The voting polls have opened on February 9, so you can go ahead and submit your decision. We truly hope the best one wins!
