Anupriya saves Kalyani from Malhar’s wrath. His anger and state of mind regarding Pillu’s parentage make him decide to do a DNA test. Kalyani rebels when Aparna tries to cane her and tells her that Pillu belongs to her even if she is not his biological mother. Malhar decides to take Moksh for his monthly checkup and intends to do the DNA test simultaneously. Meanwhile, Anupriya fails her exams. When the DNA test reveals that Moksh's DNA matches with Atharva, Malhar is stunned and traumatised.
