4 Times When Sarthak Turned Out To Be The Villain For His Own Family In Tujhse Hai Raabta

Zee Tv’s popular serial Tujhse Hai Raabta stars Reem Shaikh as Kalyani and Sehban Azim as Malhar in the lead roles. Malhar’s uncle and Anupriya’s (Poorva Gokhale) husband, Sarthak (Rajat Dahiya), has been a very grey character in the show since the beginning. Time and again he has helped Kalyani, Malhar and Anupriya in finding the truth and providing justice. But there are few instances when Sarthak has stood on the wrong side and has created problems for his family. Recalling which, here are times when he turned out to be the villain in the life of his own family members.

When Sarthak informed Meenakshi about Malhar’s whereabouts

After Kalyani disappeared from the clutches of Meenakshi, Malhar and his family get bothered by Meenakshi in many ways. From stopping their water supply to cutting their electricity, Meenakshi does it all to irritate them. Thus they decide to move to Malegaon. There they meet Kalyani in a South Indian avatar but Meenakshi also reaches the spot and tries to arrest Kalyani. It is then revealed that it was Sarthak who informed Meenakshi of their whereabouts when they come across Kalyani. That was definitely a mean move you made, Sarthak!

When Sarthak tries to get Kalyani arrested

In one of the earlier episodes, we see that Sarthak comes to the Rane house and brings an arrest warrant with him for Kalyani. He says that one of the employees in his office had registered a complaint against her for missing her work and solving her personal matters during office hours. He says that she needs to be arrested for that and also fights against Anupriya when she tries to defend Kalyani. Thank God for Anupriya’s quick thinking that didn’t let Sarthak arrest or levy any charges against Kalyani.

When Sarthak proves Anupriya to be a fraud

In an episode, an investor arrives at the saree shop that Anupriya runs and she shows them their saree designs. The investor is quite impressed by her beautiful designs and says that he will give them the advance cheque. But Sarthak intervenes in between and he shows a file to the investor which contains the same designs like that of Anupriya’s. He tells the investor that his client is the real owner of the designs and that Anupriya stole these designs and presented those under her name. He also shows a document that is in fact a patent owned by Sarthak’s client’s thus proving Anupriya to be a fraud. The investor calls off the deal and insults Anupriya.

When Sarthak refused to give Moksh’s custody to Kalyani

In another episode, after Malhar’s death, Moksh loses his voice due to shock. Sarthak seeks revenge from Kalyani and refuses to give her the custody of Moksh. She begs him to give her back her child but he remains adamant. She then tells him to at least let her call a doctor who can examine Moksh’s condition and see what can be done to get his voice back. Sarthak agrees to call a doctor on the condition that Kalyani bows down in front of him and touches his feet with her head. Kalyani due to her love for Moksh is compelled to do so.
