They filmed in the United Kingdom, where the narrative actually took place. They shot at Lord’s, The Oval, and Tunbridge Wells, where Kapil Dev famously made 175-run innings. The most goosebump giving experience for everybody was when they were filming the World Cup final triumph sequence and the silverware was handed over. For the shoot, Kabir fetched the original Prudential World Cup trophy. They were all taken aback and began to cry. While speaking with them all, Ranveer was in tears.

Adinath is also a filmmaker, and when asked who he would want to collaborate with, he said, ‘Ranveer Singh. When he’s on the floor, he’s in his element. The body language and diction he used to get into the skin of Kapil Dev’s role were superb. Ranveer would win all the prizes for this portrayal, according to the actor.
