Jaanbaaz: Meet Bonny Sengupta, Koushani Mukherjee, Tota Roy Choudhury and other actors of the film

Directed by Anup Sengupta, Jaanbaaz is a 2019 crime-action-drama film that theatrically released in 2019. The film revolves around the encounters and events that take place when a soft-hearted goon, Bikram, falls in love with an undercover cop, Priya. The world digital premiere of the film on ZEE5 is on January 24. Take a look at the star cast below!

Bonny Sengupta

Popular Bengali actor Bonny Sengupta is seen playing the role of a very kind gangster named Bikram in the film. Despite being a goon, Bikram is unable to tolerate any form of misbehaviour towards women and fights whoever harasses them. He works for Shankar Singh, a coal mafia, but his life takes a turn when he falls for Priya, an undercover cop.

Koushani Mukherjee

Koushani Mukherjee plays the role of Priya in Jaanbaaz. The actor is cast opposite Bonny Sengupta’s character in the film as an undercover cop who unveils her true identity only at the time of need. Bikram falls for her without having any clue about her reality.

Tota Roy Choudhury is seen as an exceptionally confident, daring and dedicated police officer who takes on the crimes of Shankar Singh, the coal mafia.

Popular Bengali actor Sudip Mukherjee plays the role of a fierce coal mafia, Shankar Singh, from Dhanbad under whom Bikram works as a gangster.

While Biswajit Chakraborty plays the role of Priya’s father in the film, Kanchana Moitra is seen as his widowed daughter-in-law. Shankar Chakraborty plays the role of Rahim Chacha who owns a garage where Bikram seeks a job. Bikram introduces himself as Jeet to Rahim Chaha to protect his real identity. And lastly, Diganta Bagchi is seen in the character of a corrupt police officer who secretly joins hands with Shankar Singh in Jaanbaaz.
