Chris Daughtry’s Wife Speaks Out About Her ‘Pain’ While Slamming ‘Homicide’ Rumors About Her Daughter’s Death
HollywoodMaking an impression. Chris Daughtry’s wife, Deanna Daughtry, has spoken out about the ongoing investigation concerning her daughter Hannah’s premature death.
Deanna Daughtry, Chris Daughtry’s wife, has reacted to “false” reports that her late daughter’s murder was examined as a homicide. Hannah Price, the Daughtry vocalist’s 25-year-old stepdaughter, was found dead in her Tennessee home on Nov. 12, according to the musician’s rep. The death has since become the subject of an investigation. Deanna declared homicide accusations false and warned against “jumping to conclusions” in an Instagram post on Nov. 19.
“The rumour that we indicated our daughter’s death was being investigated as a homicide is completely incorrect!” Deanna started her new job. “We were never informed that, and we’ve never said anything like that to anyone!” I mentioned some worries I had with several people I knew the day Hannah was discovered, and I told them we wouldn’t know for sure until the investigation was completed. Someone grabbed that and ran with it, or they spoke to someone else who made assumptions and ran with it to the press.”
“I lost my child, and now I’m having to deal with speculations and assumptions about her,” she later added. The individuals who loved her are in pain, and we are mourning; they are not speaking to the press, spreading rumours, or making this about themselves in any way.” Deanna stated that she is “in the midst of the most intense emotional suffering,” and that the rumours are making the grieving process “worse.”
Deanna’s statement echoes that of District Attorney General Jared Effler, who previously delivered a statement to several media sources. “Any attempt to characterize it as a homicide inquiry at this time is premature and irresponsible,” according to the statement. “Furthermore, no one has been detained in connection with Ms. Price’s death.” Following the devastating news, Chris, who has postponed his tour dates with Daughtry, claimed he was “devastated” in an Instagram post on Nov. 13.
“I’m still absorbing the events of the last 24 hours.” He wrote, “I am completely devastated and heartbroken.” “I recently lost my mother to cancer, but I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to say goodbye, and I was processing it in solitude.” We never got to say our final goodbyes to Hannah, and this is yet another devastating blow to our family.” He continued, “I adore you, Hannah.” I’m missing you. I wish I could take you in my arms. This is excruciatingly painful.”
