The Kapil Sharma Show: Shahid Kapoor Mocks The Host And Leaves Everyone In Splits; This Is What He Says

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur will appear on an upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their forthcoming film Jersey. The channel posted a promo clip for the episode, which shows Shahid pulling Kapil’s leg about his apparent ‘obsession’ with Archana Puran Singh. Kapil has been famous for digging up Archana Puran Singh on his programme, trying to make fun of her in a polite manner. Several guests before Shahid have also pointed this out, however this time, Shahid expertly flips the tables on Kapil, utilising his wit against him.

The brief trailer depicts Shahid informing Kapil that he has an Archana inside him, much to the delight of Archana and Mrunal. The star subsequently addresses Archana, a frequent on Kapil’s programme, and says that she has made herself at home within him and is now exploding. Even at night, he must speak in her tone of voice. Shahid then mimics Kapil’s approach of calling out to Archana’s spouse Parmeet Sethi with a loud announcement, making both Mrunal and Kapil giggle. Shahid will next be seen in Jersey, which will be released on December 31.

Shahid portrays a former cricketer who returns to the game for the sake of his son in the remake of the 2019 Telugu film of the same name. The movie is directed by Gowtam Tinnauri, who also directed the original, and stars Mrunal Thakur in addition to Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur as his instructor.

Recently Shahid Kapoor also surprised his fans by revealing that his next movie will be a collaboration with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. Since the news broke, fans have eagerly expected the two’s cooperation on a remake of the French action film Nuit Blanche. While the premise of the film has remained a mystery, Shahid recently came out about it. The actor revealed details on the project, indicating that it will be finished by February.
