After Samantha Akkineni, Endrendum Punagai Actress Trisha Krishnan Takes Up The Green India Challenge

Kollywood actresses have been participating in the Green India Challenge and have been nominating several of their colleagues and fans to participate and continue the chain. From Vijay Sethupathi, Lakshmi Manchu, Prakash Raj to Raashi Khanna, many popular stars have planted saplings at their residence.
Recently, we saw actress Samantha Akkineni planting a sapling along with her father-in-law Akkineni Nagarjuna, who had nominated her for the challenge. Now the latest one to jump on the bandwagon is Trisha Krishnan.

Joining the Green India Challenge, popular actress Trisha planted two saplings at her residence on Saturday. Yes, you read that right. The actress took up the challenge and took to the photo-sharing app to post pictures of the same.
Alongside the pictures, Trisha wrote on Instagram, “I accepted the #GreenIndiaChallenge and planted two saplings today. I request you all to do your bit and help towards a greener India.”

While many celebs nominated their friends and fans to take up the challenge, Trisha didn’t nominate anyone. However, the actress urged her fans and everyone else to join the challenge to make our country a greener one.
On the professional front, Trisha, who is one of South Indian cinema’s most popular and sought-after actresses, will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, which is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. In the film, the actress will be essaying the lead role. The film also features Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead roles. Stay tuned
