Apu and Krishna’s transformations from young adults to newlyweds are too sudden but we love them!

Aparajita Apu‘s Apu (Susmita Dey) and Krishnakoli‘s Krishna (Soume Chatterjee) have both undergone a noticeable transformation with regards to their overall look and style. This is obviously a result of Apu and Krishna’s recent marriages to Dipu and Aniruddho, respectively. And as unexpected and unplanned as their weddings were, their avatar transformations into newlywed wives have been just as drastic too! Take a look.

From salwars to sarees

Apu was always seen donning salwar-kurta sets prior to her recent marriage to Dipu. Although her outfits were colourful, they were never too bright or eye-catchy. However, ever since the chirpy Apu has married Dipu, she has been looking absolutely stunning in gorgeous and super vibrant sarees that we could never expect to see her wearing before!

Similarly, even Krishna has taken a 180 degree turn when it comes to fashion, since becoming Aniruddho’s wife. From wearing pastel shades and extremely simple salwar sets, little Krishna has now started wearing beautiful and bright sarees in Krishnakoli.

Beautiful gold jewellery

Both Apu and Krishna have also begun styling their outfits with stunning gold jewellery. While Apu preferred little to no jewellery earlier, Krishna was seen wearing the bare minimum pieces required with her simple looks.

Although it is generally expected of newlywed Bengali brides to wear such accessories, the sudden nature of this change in these young women has caught us completely off-guard!

Vermillion on the forehead

Again, it is a given for any newlywed woman to have vermillion on her forehead. However, we only ever saw Apu and Krishna as two young ladies with no plans to marry in the near future. Thus, their sudden wedding and a thick layer of vermillion on their foreheads is a new sight that we need to get used to!

Apu lets her hair down loose like Krishna

Although Krishna was usually seen with her hair let down, Apu mostly had hers tied up in a high ponytail. While Krishna’s hairstyle might have changed only mildly, Apu has now started wearing her hair down all the time just like Krishna does! Yes, it is rather new to us, but it is a beautiful change to witness.

Overall grown-up appearances

Apu and Krishna are young adult women who were walking a completely different path of life before their sudden nuptials. But with tying the knots to their respective husbands now, they both seem to have grown up overnight. Needless to say, we are in love with their new grown-up avatars with which they now proceed to embark upon a new chapter of life.
