1. Asur
Asur is a Bengali thriller film from 2020, written and directed by Pavel Bhattacharjee. It stars Jeet, Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan in the lead roles. The film is a tribute to the famous sculptor Ramkinkar Baij and explores the relationship between three friends, Kigan, Bodhi and Aditi. Asur is sure to rock your world and leave you astounded by the end of it!

2. Joy Maa Durga
Joy Maa Durga is a religious drama movie starring Debashree Roy and Abhishek Chatterjee. Jyothi and Shambu pray to Maa Durga for a child. They have a son but Maa Durga tells Jyothi that if Sambhu sees his son, he will die. So, Jyothi gives her son to her friend and tells Sambhu that their son died! Parallelly, Avi falls in love with a poor girl called Sova, but Avi’s rich father rejects this relationship. One thing leads to another and Shambu sees his son and dies, but Maa Durga resurrects him.

3. Lakshi Durga Saraswati
Lakhi Durga Saraswati is a 1991 Bengali drama film starring Shekhar Suman, Moon Moon Sen, Raj Kiran, Archana Puran Singh, Sudha Chandran, Reeta Bhaduri and Sarbadaman Bandyopadhyay. This film is produced by Pravej Alam and directed by Kamar Narvi. It is about three sisters who are separated during their childhood and subsequently grow up to be a police officer, a pickpocket and a prostitute. Years later when they reunite, they cannot recognise each other!
4. Adyashakti Mahamaya
Adyashakti Mahamaya is a famous Bengali movie from 1978. Directed by Purnendu Roy Chowdhury, it stars Gurudas Bandyopadhyay, Asit Baran, Ajit Bandyopadhyay, Lily Chakravarty, Padma Devi, and Renuka Roy in the lead roles. It is a devotional film set around Ma Durga.
