Best Of 2020: Agga Bai Sasubai’s Shubhra, Majha Hoshil Na’s Aditya And Other Characters We Fell In Love With This Year

2020 has been a difficult year for all of us due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many other depressing incidents. During this time, OTT platforms were no less than a boon and entertained people. Many characters from our favourite Marathi shows streaming on ZEE5 provided us with a much-needed escape in 2020; so much that we developed a personal connection with them. So as 2020 is finally coming to an end, take a look at characters who made us fall in love with them.

1. Radhika – Mazya Navryachi Bayko

Radhika started out as an innocent but strong-headed housewife. But after divorcing her husband, she started a new life by starting her very own spices company. After her husband, Gurunath cheated on Shanaya with Maya, Radhika chose to take Shanaya under her wing. She taught her the importance of being independent and earning her own money. As a good intent, she and her second husband Soumitra also plan to save Maya from Gurunath, who only wants his new girlfriend’s money.

2. Rana Da – Tuzhat Jeev Rangala

Just like Radhika, Rana Da has also come a long way. He started out as a shy wrestler and a politician’s son but he soon evolved into a good-hearted husband. He made sure that his wife Anjali does not face any trouble in the house. He dodged death on several occasions to protect his family. But while doing so, Rana Da never stopped being a humble and kind man.

3. Shubhra – Agga Bai Sasubai

Shubhra from Agga Bai Sasubai set the bar high this year for all the daughters-in-law on television. She is no less than Asawari’s daughter and always looks out for her well-being. No wonder when Asawari wanted to marry Abhijeet, she whole-heartedly supported her decision. Moreover, she also secretly supported the old couple when her husband and Asawari’s son Soham, banished them from their house. Shubhra vowed to teach Soham a lesson and bring back Asawari and Abhijeet to their house.

4. Aditya – Majha Hoshil Na

Aditya won the heart of the audience with his boy-next-door charm. He is a hard-worker and wants to prove himself at work. Apart from being a good man, Aditya is also a good friend to Sai. When Suyash asked his help to date Sai, Aditya made sure that Sai gets treated well and does not face any trouble. Now that he and Sai have professed their love to each other, Aditya is trying very hard to strike a balance between Sai and Dada mama’s wishes.

5. Priyanka – Karbhari Laybhari

Priyanka is a character that made a place for herself in the audience’s heart. She is the darling daughter of a politician and wants to continue her father’s legacy. But while doing so, she also befriends Rajveer, the son of the rival political party. She hides her identity from Rajveer but chooses to reveal it before he finds out himself.
