Bob Biswas: Abhishek Bachchan Reacts To Sujoy Ghosh’s THIS Remarks – Deets Inside

Abhishek Bachchan is all set to win hearts with his mind-blowing performance in the upcoming film Bob Biswas that will premiere on ZEE5 on December 3. The junior Bachchan has responded to filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh’s remark on his father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan. On Wednesday, Sujoy had shared a fan-made collage of two scenes from Amitabh Bachchan’s Deewaar and Abhishek Bachchan’s Bob Biswas.

In the scenes from their respective movies, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan are seen with their heads under a tap as the water while Big B swallows the water, Abhishek Bachchan washes away his blood-filled face. Sharing the photo on his Twitter account, Suyog thanked to the person who made the photo. Adding more to it he wrote nice to dream but a father will always remain a father! Speaking of Bob Biswas, it is the directorial debut of Sujoy Ghosh’s daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh. The ZEE5 original film revolves around the contract killer Bob Biswas featured originally in Vidya Balan’s hit Kahaani. That role was essayed by Saswata Chatterjee in the previous film. The spin-off, which features Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role, will be out on ZEE5 on December 3, 2021.

In an interview with a leading daily, Sujoy had also said that he had approached Abhishek for the role of Bob Biswas while making Kahaani but he wasn’t able to do the film due to scheduling problems. Vidya Balan starrer thriller film was released in 2012. In the film, the actress played Vidya Bagchi, a pregnant woman searching for her missing husband in Kolkata.

In another interview, Sujoy shredded light on his reaction to Diya’s first-ever script. He said that Diya gave him a script of a short film and he found it as one of the worst scripts he has ever read. But he didn’t tell her the reality. Later when Diya created the film, it turned out to be dark and humourous and then he was impressed with it. That was one of the reasons Ghosh thought that the kind of dark humour Bob Biswas needs is in her generation.
