In the previous episode of Chembarathi, Anand gets upset when he is unable to meet Kalyani. Ganga gets a call from a stranger which scares her. Anand approaches Kalyani and makes her get off the wheel-chair and walk. Ganga appreciates Vilasini’s idea.

In the latest episode of Chembarathi, Subramaniam, Aravind and Anand are in a room discussing Anand’s marriage to Kalyani. Subramaniam suggests that Anand must inform Akhila about his marriage and use the current situation in his favour. But Sivaramakrishnan walks in and informs them that Akhila is planning to get Ganga married to Anand soon. As they discuss Anand’s marriage, Akhila walks into the room and questions Aravind as to whose wedding was he talking about. Aravind tells her that they were discussing Anand’s wedding. As Akhila leaves, Aravind addresses Akhila as a clown. Sivaramakrishnan loses his temper on Aravind for disregarding his mother. When Anand holds Sivaramakrishnan’s hand, he pulls his hand away.
Kalyani talks before her mother’s photo about the struggles in her life. She shows the sari Anand brought for her and wonders if she could attend the function. Aniankuttan overhears Kalyani and assures her that she will surely attend the function. Meanwhile at Trichambarath, Ganga worries that Kalyani may attend the function, but Vilasini tells her a plan and assures her that her fears will not come true.
As Aniankuttan and Kalyani discuss the former’s online class, Dasan intervenes and the family has a cheerful conversation. When Dasan leaves the house, Anand comes to meet Kalyani. On Kalyani’s request, Anand takes her for a stroll in the courtyard. Vilasini, Ganga and Jayanthi are shocked to see the couple in the courtyard.
