Veteran actor Dilip Kumar has finally been discharged from a hospital in Khar. He was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on April 30, 2021. On Sunday, i.e. April 2, 2021 he was discharged from the hospital. Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu informed the legendary actor’s well wishers and fans that Kumar is doing well and he is back at his home now.
In the past few years, Bollywood and the Indian film industry, in general, have lost many of its film stars. To this day their fans mourn their loss and often revisit their work as token of their appreciation. Recently, Dilip Kumar’s fans were quite worried when it was reported that he has been admitted to a hospital. The legendary actor’s fans have witnessed several news about his health scares in the past.

Hence when news about his admission to a hospital broke, many fans were concerned about his condition. But now, Dilip Kumar has been discharged from the hospital. As mentioned earlier, Dilip Kumar was not admitted to the hospital for any serious issue but rather for a routine check-up. Thankfully, Saira Banu always keeps fans and the media posted about Dilip Kumar’s heath. Since Dilip Kumar is one of the last actors from the Golden Age of the Hindi film industry.
Moreover, Dilip Kumar’s routine health tests have not indicated anything worrisome. A family friend of the Bollywood couple, named Faisal Farukhi also confirmed the news. Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital for his routine check up due to his age factor. Dilip Kumar has already lost his two brothers, namely Nasir Khan and Aslam Khan. Both the brothers lost their lives due to COVID-19.

Dilip Kumar’s real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan. Even though Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan are all popular stars, Dilip Khan is still known as ‘The First Khan’ of Bollywood. Dilip Kumar’s career spanned for more than four decades. He was known for being experimental with his roles and did not shy away from portraying roles that various actors of his time turned a blind eye to.
No wonder, he has won the highest number of Filmfare Awards in the Best Actor category. Moreover, his acting chops are still highly recognised in the industry. His acting skills has also garnered him the title of one of the greatest actors in the Indian cinema. After making his debut in 1944 with the film, Jwar Bhata, Dilip Kumar never had to look back.
