#1 The Call For A Road Trip

KL 10 Pathu directed by Muhsin Prarari is a fun-filled road movie featuring some of the best performances from Malayalam’s A-listers. As the news of Ahmed eloping with his girlfriend reaches his brother Ajmal, he asks his friends to tag along on a road trip.

Ajmal picks up one character after the other to help him on his trip but he doesn’t reveal to them until the beginning of their journey that they are looking for Ahmed. Aju Varghese’s presence as Faizal adds to the fun in the scenes as he hides the whereabouts of Ahmed from the gang of friends.

#2 Ahmed Falls In Love

Ahmed’s college days are narrated by a Jinn in the movie essayed by Sreenath Bhasi. Unni Mukundan essaying the role of Ahmed as the loner with no interest in studies is fun to watch. He meets Hadiya and finds a new direction in life but their relationship only adds more to his life’s despairs as her father fixes her marriage with someone else.

#3 Aju Varghese Misleads The Boys

Aju Varghese as Faizal in the movie gives us plenty of moments for hearty laughter. He joins the search party for Ahmed even after knowing his whereabouts and misleads the group. The funniest scene comes when the boys are caught by the cops and Faizal hides the papers of the car. Faizal’s scenes in the car are complemented by Saiju Kurup’s hilarious one-liners and Neeraj Madhav’s sense of humour.

The director of the movie, Muhsin Prarari is an ardent fan of football and he shows glimpses of his love for the sport in several scenes. In one such scene, the elders in the house are following a tight match between two teams on TV with utmost excitement. The scene turns funny as the old friends figure out after a while that the match is not live and suddenly lose interest. Veteran actor Mammukoya’s presence on the movie leads to several such fun instances.

The Jinn in the movie essayed by Sreenath Bhasi also entertains us with the best jokes. As the narrator of the story, he also interferes in Ahmed’s life, but only to help him.
