1)  OK Bangaram

Once in years, Mani Rathnam will give us a love story that will stay with us for decades. For this generation, it happens to be OK Bangaram. Introducing the Telugu audiences to Dulquer Salmaan as the boy-next-door and Nithya Menen as his ladylove, this movie is a gem and you need to watch it if you haven’t already.

2) Godavari

It will not be fair at all if this gem isn’t mentioned. Seetha Mahalakshmi is not perfect but she is relatable. She will make you fall in love with her and make you want to watch more of Kamalini Mukherjee. The album has made its place in every playlist and you will soon know why, when you watch Godavari.

3) Bommarillu

From the dialogues to the songs, this movie is iconic in all senses. There is no scene that will not make you smile and it is just too endearing. The name Hasini will forever ring a bell and relate it to Genelia Deshmukh because this is how loved this classic is. There is no way that you have not watched it, but if you haven’t, you will not regret investing your time in the Siddharth and Genelia Deshmukh starrer Bommarillu.

4) Geetha Govindam

From handling a sensitive topic like harassment to giving us a character like Geetha who can stand up for herself, Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna was a blockbuster for all the right reasons. The music just put this movie on the map of fine Indian cinema and it deserves to be so!

5) Ye Maya Chesave

The fact that Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni are married in real life, makes this movie so much more special. Ye Maya Chesave might as well be the story of their love, given that Jesse, in the film, is a Christian while Karthik is a Hindu. Fortunately, the star couple didn’t have to face as many struggles as Karthik and Jesse did.
