The 1983 Subhash Ghai classic paved a way for Jackie Shroff’s heroic entry into the Hindi film industry. The film Hero revolved around a hitman who traces his way back to the track of humanity after falling in love with a girl. Though the film’s idea may sound very typical, Ghai’s well-written characters undergoing a change made it a complete treat for the viewers. The film was high on action, drama, and romance – a perfect masala entertainer.

The 1986 film Karma is laden with heavy action and is full of humour. The film featured Dilip Kumar, Sridevi, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Naseeruddin Shah in the vital roles. Subhash Ghai’s Saudagar is considered to be an epic for many reasons, one being the last film to feature Raj Kumar and Dilip Kumar on-screen together.
