HIT: Rajkummar Rao And Sanya Malhotra Starrer Hindi Remake Of Telugu Thriller Gets A Release Date – Deets Inside

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra are all set to share the screen space together. They will be featured together in the Hindi remake of the Telugu cop drama HIT. The film tells the story of a cop who is on the trial of a missing woman. Sanya Malhotra plays the female lead in the film. HIT stands for Homicide Intervention Team. Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma played lead roles in the Telugu film. The makers of the film have announced the release date of the Hindi film.

The leading lady of the film, Sanya Malhotra took to her social media account and shared the date of release of the film HIT. Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress wrote, “We are hitting the theatres with a swooning mystery thriller, Hit – The First Case on 20th May 2022”. She also shared a photo with the makers of the film as she announced the release date of the film.

Speaking of the film, Sailesh Kolanu made his directorial debut with the Telugu version of HIT – The First Case is directing the Rajkummar Rao starrer film too. While the original film was produced by Telugu actor Nani in association with Prashanti Tipirmeni, the Hindi film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore. As HIT is a massive investigative franchise down South, the makers are planning to give the Hindi remake a similar spin.

Rajkummar Rao is excited about his new project. Earlier, the actor talked about being a part of HIT to a leading news portal. He had said that when he saw HIT, he instantly connected with it. Rajkummar said that it’s an engaging story, relevant in today’s environment. As an actor Rlookoutar is always on the lookout to play characters he hasn’t explored and HIT gives him a chance to do that. The actor is looking forward to take the journey of the film with Sailesh and Dil Raju.
