Jaago: Anirudh Ravichander’s music elevates the impact of this Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil starrer

Jaago starring Nayanthara, Sivakarthikeyan, and Fahadh Faasil is one of the most entertaining movies with a message behind it. While director Mohan Raja made sure that his way of narration kept us engrossed, the actors complemented it with their amazing performances too! However, one of the best aspects of the movie is certainly the music by Anirudh Ravichander!

Nallagunde Vallantha 

You can’t resist dancing to this song that is the first number in the movie. While it compels you to shake a leg, it will also educate you about the blatant racism in our times. The song helps in establishing Gyanu’s character and what he does for society. It also sets the tone for his background and where he lives.

Samayama Entha Chilipi

The song marks the beginning of Mrinalini and Gyanu’s love story. She starts falling for him during this song, and it perfectly conveys what the characters feel at that point. Apart from this, the song also features some soothing music and great lyrics that make you want to revisit it!

Sakhuda 

Sakhuda is what a soft rock song combined with romantic lyrics feels like. The tune will certainly stay in your head, and this is where the two learn about their feelings for each other. This is also where you will enjoy some great visuals as the protagonists begin to float amongst the clouds.

Jaago Re

The title track of the movie is also the last song in the movie. It will energise you with its beats and rhythm, and also make you glad that Gyanu is on his way to get what he deserves. The song is perfect and conveys all emotions that the director intended for you to have.

The BGM

Be it when Gyanu begins to fall for Mrinalini or when he is confronting Adhi, the background music makes you feel everything that he is feeling. The music makes sure that it immerses you into the universe of Jaago like you are watching and experiencing it first hand. This was certainly one of Anirudh’s best album!
