Bollywood’s famous screenwriter and lyricist Javed Akhtar turns 77 and brings up his birthday with lots and lots of wishes and blessings from his beloved family members, friends, and his followers. Known for his work in Hindi cinema, Javed Akhtar has won five National Film Awards and received the Padma Shri in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2007, the two of India’s highest civilian honors, by the government of India.

Wishing him on his birthday, Javed’s children, actor, and singer Farhan Akhtar, and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar shared a beautiful picture on social media. Farhan Akhtar shared Javed Akhtar’s old snap along with a heartfelt note. While posting his picture Rock On fame actor, Farhan Akhtar wrote that this is how he has always known his father to be….. thoughtless, restless, curious, and always searching for what’s beyond the obvious. He also tried reminding his father, through his post, to make him realize how many people he inspired for trying and living just the way he lives.

At the same time, Farhan’s sister, Zoya Akhtar, too, shared an old painting of his father Javed Akhtar on social media, wishing him a happy birthday. She called him a ‘Forever Cowboy’. Soon after their posts, Javed’s fans rushed into the comment section to wish him on his birthday. Many celebrities too commented on Farhan’s and Zoya’s posts. Farhan Akhtar’s girlfriend, Shibani Dandekar, was one of the immediate responders to his post. She reacted to it by dropping heart emojis in the comment section.

One of his fans too wished, the iconic personality mentioning that Javed Akhtar is the one who infuses life, adds depth, defines characters, and flows with nature like living poetry. Another one commented on the picture shared by Farhan Akhtar, talking about the similarity in the father-son look. He thought that the shared photo is of Farhan Akhtar.

Actor Farhan Akhtar and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar are Javed Akhtar’s children with his first wife, Honey Irani. They filed their divorce in 1978 and got married to the veteran actress Shabana Azmi in 1984.
