Kangana Ranaut Wins Against BMC; Says It’s A Victory For Democracy

After a long battle, Bombay High Court ruled in favour of actor Kangana Ranaut in the Kangana vs MVA debate. .

The Kangana Ranaut vs MVA debate has been trending all over social media. However, the debate has now taken a drastic turn after the Bombay High Court ruled in favour of the actor. Kangana took to Instagram to reveal the news to her fans and followers and thanked them for their support. She also thanked her haters in the video. According to the reports, the court ruled that the demolition was done on wrongful grounds. Read ahead to know the details.

Kangana sent a strong message to her audience, both fans and haters, after the Bombay High Court ruled in favour of the actress. As per the reports, the court ruled that the demolition of the actor’s home in Mumbai was carried out on wrongful grounds. It also stated that the BMC officials had acted out of malice. The court also appointed a valuer to assess the damage done.

Kangana wrote a strong caption that read, “When an individual stands against the government and wins, it’s not the victory of the individual but it’s the victory of the democracy. Thank you, everyone, who gave me courage and thanks to those who laughed at my broken dreams. It’s only cause you play a villain so I can be a HERO.” The actor was shooting for her upcoming film Thalaivi when the video was taken.

Kangana’s beef with the Maharashtra government began after she made a comment that she feared the Mumbai police more than the movie mafia. She also tagged them as Pakistan-occupied Kashmir or PoK. As per the reports, the court directed BMC to reimburse the actor for all the damage caused. Consequently, the court rejected all demolition notices sent on 7 September and 9 September by the BMC. Kangana thanked her supporters and all those who gave her courage.

Kangana is set to star in the biographical film Thalaivi. The film is based on the life of a late politician and actor J Jayalalithaa. She served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The film is directed by A L Vijay and stars Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta and many others.
