Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif recently tested positive for COVID 19 and fans have been sending her heartfelt messages, wishing her a speedy recovery. She announced the news through her social media handle and mentioned that she has been put under home quarantine with immediate effect. She also stated that she has been following all necessary precautions to combat the virus and its effects. Various Bollywood celebrities have been infected with the virus as the second wave of COVID 19 has already begun in the country. The state of Maharashtra has been witnessing the highest number of positive cases in the country and Mumbai is also the worst-hit city at the moment, with more than 9000 cases emerging on a daily basis.

Actors like Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar, and Kartik Aaryan, are amongst the celebs who took to social media to announce that they have tested positive for Coronavirus. Actor Katrina Kaif is the latest addition to the list as she recently posted a note on her Instagram story, informing her fans that she was tested positive for the virus.
In the short note, Katrina Kaif mentioned that she has isolated herself with immediate effect and will be in home quarantine for the next few days. She has also been constantly in touch with her doctor, seeking medical advice. The actor was very thankful for the immense love and support from her fans and also advised them to stay safe by following all necessary precautions. She requested people to get tested if they have come in contact with her in the last few days.

Bhumi Pednekar and Govinda are also amongst the people who tested positive this week. Govinda’s wife revealed in a statement that the actor had been recovering and has been in home quarantine for the last few days. Bhumi Pednekar, on the other hand, made the announcement through her Instagram handle.
