In the next episode, Akshay pretends to be angry before the Luthras. He calls off his wedding with Kritika to avoid confessing his wrongdoings. He manages to portray that he is sick of Preeta’s accusations and is completely innocent. While he takes a leave from the Luthra house, he warns Preeta that she will face the brunt of this. Preeta feels satisfied with the fact that Kritika is not marrying him. Later, Karan questions Sarla why Preeta did not involve him in her plan. He asks her why Preeta did not trust him enough. Sarla loses her cool and says that Preeta need not prove anything to anybody. She asks Preeta to stop worrying about Karan’s family members and suggests her to cut off ties with everyone.
