Boti Fry
Marinate the mutton with salt, red chilly powder, mutton masala powder and all the spices powder that you wish to add. Now, take heat oil while adding cinnamon, black pepper, green cardamom and cloves. Let them splutter. After having done this, add onion and saute it till it becomes pink. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute well. Finally, add marinated mutton in it and mix it well. Add any amount of water to suit your needs and let it cook on a medium flame for around 15-20 minutes. Don’t forget to keep stirring it so that it does not stick to the pan. Make sure that all the masala should be dry and the mutton is cooked well. Garnish with coriander and your dish is ready to eat.
Jeerige Kashaya
Jeerige Kashaya is an excellent remedy for indigestion and is prepared using cumin seeds and water. It has also been an ayurvedic remedy for gas and bloating. If you eat a lot of fried items like Boti Fry, then Jeerige Kashaya works like magic to help digest the food. First, heat a pan and add in cumin seeds. Roast the cumin seeds until they start crackling on a high flame. Immediately reduce the flame and add the water so that the cumin seeds are not burnt. Wait for few minutes until the water is boiled so the flavour is extracted from the seeds. Strain the seeds and your drink is ready!
