Postman Episode 8 Written Update: Raja Has A Letter To Deliver, From Pakistan.

In the previous episode of Postman, Raja and Rajini take the seventh letter to Vishal, but the watchman does not allow them to enter. They tell him that they have got a letter for Vishal from 23 years ago, Vishal’s sister overhears their conversation, tells the watchman to allow them inside. Vishal, to whom the seventh letter is addressed, is agitated upon reading the letter since it was the answer to his search for his lost family (wife and daughter). He feels that his wife’s family must have got her married to someone else. Raja and Rajini convince him to restart his search for his lost wife and daughter. As Vishal prepares to leave for Coimbatore to follow up on the letter, Rajini and Raja accompany him. The three arrive at the said address, they find Vishal’s wife in a bad state. She takes some time to recognize her husband. Vishal feels happy as he reunites with his wife after 23 years. Then she informs Vishal that her family had taken her daughter away from her and she has no clue of her whereabouts. He consoles her by saying they will look for their daughter together.

In the eighth episode, two best friends Ibrahim and Ravishankar are separated in their childhood as one belonged to a Muslim family and the other had Hindu origins. However, Ibrahim, who had to leave the village urgently and move to Pakistan, had no other way to inform his friend Ravishankar besides a letter. But the letter was never delivered to his friend as Raja had gone into a coma 23 years ago. And when Raja finds one such undelivered letter with him, he goes to deliver it along with Rajini. On reaching there, they discover that the person the letter is addressed to has grown old! They also notice that the family members are hesitant about letting the old man meet Raja and Rajini. However, the two get in touch with Ravishankar after his grandson’s wife helps them. She also tells them that her family treats Ravishankar very badly and hence, she takes care of him.

As they deliver the letter to Ravishankar, the latter gets emotional and assumes that he must have passed away given his smoking habits. Rajini and Raja offer to help and tell him that they will try and find out about Ibrahim. They promise Ravishankar that they will make him meet Ibrahim if he is still alive. So they take a video of Ravi Shankar sending out a message for his Pakistani friend. When Rajini puts it up on social media, the video gets viral and appears on a news channel. This way, they not only find Ibrahim but also reunite the two best friends. The family, who have been misbehaving with Ravishankar, starts being very kind to him. What will happen next? Stay tuned!

However, on a tragic day, with nine letters yet to be delivered, Raja meets with an accident and slips into a coma. The series of events that take place when he tries to deliver these letters 23 years later forms the crux of the story.
