Preity Zinta recently returned home to her husband Gene Goodenough in LA after spending 2 months in Dubai for IPL 2020. She celebrated her Diwali this year with her family in the US. Take a look at the special festive message the Kal Ho Na Ho actor had for her fans in India.

Preity Zinta recently shared a messaged with her fans in India during Diwali. She was seen wearing a yellow salwar suit and has an aarti thali in her hands. She paired her simple dress with heavy gold jewellery and looked absolutely gorgeous. She addressed her fans on Diwali through her social media. She wished her audience a happy Diwali as she began talking about her festival this year. She said that this year’s Diwali was a tad bit different than the previous years.

She mentioned that even though COVID-19 was making us celebrate Diwali indoors, nothing could stop the Indians from getting all decked up. She added that this year no guests would be visiting their house but they received loads of Diwali wishes and goddess Lakshmi visited their house for Lakshmi Poojan. She added that everyone could celebrate their Diwali 2020 by staying indoors and having a small Diwali party of their own. She urged her fans to celebrate this festival safely and eat loads of sweets. She also mentioned that they should wear their masks if they’re leaving their house for the festival.

Preity Zinta‘s Diwali celebrations were with her family and her husband. She shared a few pictures with her mother and her ‘Pati Parmeshwar’ Gene Goodenough. She said that her mother made her Diwali extremely special by celebrating it with her. She also shared a photo from her Stay-at-home Diwali Party with her family which she said was the new normal.
