Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar To Start Shooting In Ayodhya After Receiving A Nod From Yogi Adityanath?

Actor Akshay Kumar will reportedly start shooting for his next film Ram Setu at the holy shrines of Ayodhya. The actor had reportedly spoken to Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, about his plans to execute the shooting schedule in Ayodhya and has also gotten a nod for the project. According to a report by The Free Press Journal, the actor had also appreciated the efforts being taken by the UP government to encourage filmmaking in the stunning locations around the state. The film Ram Setu was announced by actor Akshay Kumar on the occasion of Dipawali 2020, through an elaborate social media post.

Actor Akshay Kumar is reportedly scheduling a Ram Setu shooting schedule in Ayodhya, after receiving a nod from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the video attached above, the decision regarding the schedule was taken when the two notable personalities met, at the Trident Hotel in Mumbai on Tuesday, last week. They discussed various significant topics during the dinner meeting, including Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Ram Setu and the theme covered in it. According to various reports, Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath also lauded the efforts being taken by Akshay Kumar to deliver films with a social message.

Akshay Kumar had previously announced the film on his official Twitter handle on the occasion of Diwali 2020. He released the official poster of Ram Setu, which had a picture of him against a glorifying animated figure of Lord Rama. The actor could be seen donning an urban cool attire with a set of cargo pants and a grey shirt. He was also seen wearing a piece of orange cloth around his neck while a pair of simple glasses rested on his face. Ram Setu is being directed by Abhishek Sharma, who has previously helmed films like Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran.

Through the caption for the post, actor Akshay Kumar had mentioned that Ram Setu aims at building a bridge between Lord Ram’s teaching and the generations to come. He wished his fans Happy Diwali and also stated that this was a humble effort from the team’s side. Have a look at the post.
