Ranbir Kapoor And Alia Bhatt To Wrap Up The Final Schedule Of Brahmastra In Budapest

Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming project Brahmastra has been in buzz ever since it was announced. Though the film went on floors in 2018, it faced many blockades resulting in a long delay. While the makers were ready to wrap the film by Summer 2021, it again got stalled after the lead stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tested positive for Covid-19. However, now as everything is back on track, the final schedule of Brahmastra will be shot in Budapest. 

As the lockdown restrictions have been lifted, the shoot of many films has been resumed in the state. Amid this, the makers of Brahmastra are also prepping for the film’s final schedule. According to the reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will begin shooting for the film in Budapest. The cast and crew of the project will fly to Hungary after getting fully vaccinated. Now, the makers are waiting for the international travel restrictions to be lifted. They have planned to wrap up the film post-August.

Brahmastra is the first part of Mukerji’s ambitious trilogy. This fantasy adventure drama is being backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Reportedly, the film will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Bengali. Ayan has been working on this project for the last eight years, since his last outing ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. Also, the film will mark his first venture as a producer.

This big-budgeted project is expected to be the “game-changer” when it comes to the genre of fantasy films in Indian cinema. Though nothing more about the story has been revealed, fans are excited to see Alia and Ranbir’s chemistry. The duo will be sharing screen space with each other for the first time.

Talking more about Brahmastra, the film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Also, superstar Shah Rukh Khan might be seen in a special appearance.
