Actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were recently snapped outside the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai. Their father Indrajit Chakraborty was also spotted accompanying them to the NCB office. As per the reports, they were summoned by the NCB to ‘mark their monthly attendance’ at the investigative agency. Watch the news video below to find out more details:
In the news video, Rhea and her brother can be seen exiting the NCB premises with their father accompanying them. A photographer can be heard asking Showik to speak with the paparazzi for a minute but he does not comply. Rhea can be seen wearing a simple black kurta in the video.

As per the reports, Rhea and Showik who have been allegedly linked to the Bollywood drug nexus in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, have to mark their monthly attendance at the NCB office on the first Monday of every month. Reports also claim that the siblings left the office soon after performing their routine procedure.

The NCB had reportedly arrested Rhea, her brother Showik and many others under ‘several relevant sections’ of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in September 2020. These arrests were made in connection with a case linked with the investigation of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death who reportedly died of suicide on 14 June 2020.

Rhea walked out on bail from Mumbai’s Byculla jail on October 7 while Showik was granted bail on December 2 last year.
