We all know that the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was put on arrest a few years ago. now, director Subhash Ghai has a remark to make on the arrest incident of the actor

Sanjay Dutt is among those actors from Bollywood for whom fans eagerly wait to see him on screen. He has done several outstanding movies for which he got praised by the audiences. He has also received many awards, including two Filmfare Awards and three Screen Awards for his wonderful performances in his films.

Sanju Baba though has seen tough times while working in Bollywood. We all know that his journey was not so smooth, as he has seen many ups and downs in his entire career.

Recently, one of his close ones, filmmaker Subhash Ghai, revealed that he knew the actor was innocent at the time of his arrest in 1993. Subhash Ghai and actor Sanjay Dutt have worked together in the movie, Khalnayak, and it was a big hit. The movie was released close to the actor’s arrest date.

Meanwhile, Subhash Ghai said, he never involved Sanjay Dutt’s controversy in his film’s promotion. He revealed that he did not spend a single rupee for Khalnayak’s promotion. There were such issues behind Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai, many political parties were against him, but he chose to stay quiet as he knew what film he had made and what Sanjay Dutt was. He too knew what the Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai song meant for him.

Subhash also revealed that he has known actor Sanjay Dutt ever since his childhood, and he is very close to him. He added a big statement that when Sanju Baba was arrested, Subhash knew that he was not a criminal, but trapped.

Actor Sanjay Dutt got arrested under the Terrorist And Disruptive Activities Act in 1993. He then got released after getting bail, but his bail got canceled in 1994 and he went back to jail again. He came out of jail in 1995.

He again was convicted under the Arms Act by a TADA court in 2006 after he was found guilty. Sanju Baba again spent his days in jail from 2013 to 2016.

Despite all these, he never stopped his journey, to date. Currently, he is gearing up for his much-awaited next releases, K.G.F. Chapter 2, Shamshera, and The Good Maharaja.
