From Jojo Rabit to The Prestige, actress Scarlett Johansson has evolved in her characters

Scarlett Johansson, an actress, activist, and mother. She has been known for her style, both personal and professional. Let us take a look at some of her top  movie looks:

Black Widow(2021)

Scarlett Johansson was back on the big screen in July this year in the long-awaited “Black Widow” from Marvel Studios and Disney.  She appears here in a black body-hugging outfit, characteristic of a superhero. She looks bold and beautiful here with her perfect toned figure!

Jojo Rabbit (2019)

In this Holocaust movie, Scarlett Johansson plays the role of a mother who is hiding a little Jew girl in her house. Her look in Waititi’s Golden Globe-nominated Jojo Rabbit is dainty and complemented by short wavy hair.  Mostly seen wearing long formal gowns of the 90s, she is a modern-day activist and rebel in the movie.

The Prestige (2006)

In this movie, Scarlett Johansson adopts a British accent and plays the role of seductive and charming Olivia.  She looks stunning here with short, curled-up hair. Her dresses are body-hugging and mostly off-shouldered. She is a charm personified in the movie.

The Man Who Wasn’t There (2001)

Scarlett Johansson was only 17 when she was cast in Joel and Ethan Coen’s film noir tribute The Man Who Wasn’t There. It was shot in black and white.  Scarlett Johansson’s screen time is minimal, but her daring role of teenage Birdy Abundas is essential to some of the most memorable moments of the movie. She is styled again in short hair and long skirts and bulky sweaters, popular in the 60s. She has blonde hair and has an innocent and naïve touch to her hairdo in the movie, kept away from the face with a little black Bobby pin.

Scarlett Johansson has evolved from a child star to the leading lady on the big screen. She’s done it with grace and glamour. With the mullet haircut of her youth, there is much to celebrate as she moved through her 20s and the bold, confident style that emerged in her 30s.
