The shoots of this popular comedy show have resumed and the makers are making sure that the guidelines laid down by the authorities are met with. Safety measures like using masks, gloves, and hand sanitisers while shooting, the routine thermal checkups of the cast and crew, and providing the makeup artists with PPE kits have been undertaken by the team of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. One of the significant changes that has been rolled out because of the new normal is limiting the size of the crew. The team has reportedly cut down the size and has been reduced to just 40 people on the sets including the cast.
Apart from this, the audience also isn’t allowed in the studio anymore. The makers have tweaked the format of the show to inculcate these changes that have been brought about for the safety of the crew. The first episode of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya was recently shot without any audience members in the studio. Shreya Bugde had earlier revealed that it would be challenging for the team to perform a skit without the audiences since the comedians are used to performing in the presence of the studio audience. The comedy show is also known to provide a platform for celebrities for the promotion of their upcoming projects. With respect to this, the makers have decided to connect with the celebs through video calls which we might see in the new episodes soon.
The cast was excited to be back on the sets after a long hiatus and shared pictures of their first day at the shoots. Let’s look at some photos shared by Shreya Bugde, Saagar Karande, and Kushal Badrike as they kickstarted the shoots.
