Sunny Deol And Amisha Patel Starrer Gadar 2 In The Making? Actor Drops Major Hints

There hasn’t been a movie where we’re not taken away with Sunny Deol‘s charm and strong sense of acting. The actor has delivered some stellar performances which include the film Gadar with Ameesha Patel sharing the screenspace. The Gadar film has a completely different fanbase all together. The film released in 2001 and the film has made special place in our hearts.

Now after almost two decades, the film is ready to make its sequel and Sunny Deol has teased the audience on his social media with a picture.

The caption has teased towards picking up from where everything has ended and ‘Gadar 2 the katha continues‘ giving a new life from where it stopped and travelling a new route filled with its own challenges.

Reportedly, Anil Sharma and his team of writers have been trying to crack the plot of a sequel to Gadar for a while now and they finally have the entire screenplay in place. Much like the first part, the sequel too will speak of the India – Pakistan conflict with Sunny Deol taking down the entire country. The pre-production work has already begun and the makers are gearing up to take the film on floors around the month of November.

While an official announcement is yet to be made in this regard, Sunny Deol seems to have made the speculations rife with his recent Instagram post.

The story of the film is about during the partition, Tara marries Sakina and they live a happy life. However their happiness is short-lived when Sakina’s father forces her to stay in Pakistan and separates her from her family.

The film starred Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Amrish Puri in the lead.

Another interesting thing is that the film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha had a global cinema release on 15 June 2001, opposite Ashutosh Gowariker’s sports drama Lagaan starring Aamir Khan and Gracy Singh.
