Sushant Case: What Did Rhea Chakraborty Say To The ED?

Rhea Chakraborty today, reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai to record her statement in the money laundering case lodged against her. Rhea, who arrived with her brother Showik, stands accused of misappropriating of funds up to Rs 15 crore from her deceased boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account. Her appearance in front of the agency comes after the ED rejected her plea to postpone the recording of her statement until the Supreme Court hearing.

The money laundering case was lodged by the Bihar Police, after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh had filed an FIR against Rhea in Patna. Among other things, including abetment to suicide, the FIR accuses her of cheating and siphoning off the late actor’s funds for her and her family’s personal expenses. Rhea is yet to comment on the allegations levelled against her. Meanwhile, Sushant’s suicide case has been transferred to the CBI.
