Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a rare red carpet appearance at the Salute to Freedom Gala in New York, where they wore a gorgeous red gown and a pristine tuxedo

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala in New York City on Wednesday, making a rare red carpet appearance. The pair were dressed to the nines for their rare night out, and they were joined by other high-profile celebs at the Intrepid Museum, including Jon Bon Jovi.

Meghan’s hair was pulled back into a neat, high bun, allowing us to see her immaculate makeup up close. The former Suits actress’ features were perfectly defined with filled-in brows, defined cat eyes, rosy cheeks, glossy pink lips, and a lot of highlighters.

Meghan looked amazing at the Gala in a fiery red Carolina Herrera gown that suited the red carpet perfectly. The halter-neck dress has a thigh-high slit and a plunging neckline. It also came with a long, sweeping train that began at her hips and ended at her feet. A pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels in the same red as her dress, solitaire studs and a modest diamond bracelet completed the former Duchess of Sussex’s ensemble.

Next to her, Prince Harry wore a black suit with a white shirt underneath and a black bow tie to complete his ensemble. Meghan and Harry wore red poppy flower pins as they strolled hand-in-hand in honour of Remembrance Day, which was observed in the UK on the same day.

According to the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, which is holding the event within the “historic” aircraft carrier called the Intrepid, Harry, 37, will deliver the Intrepid Valor Award to “servicemen and veterans living with the unseen scars of war.” According to the source, the banquet “recognises great leadership and celebrates the brave men and women who serve in defence of our country.”
