Throwback: When Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan Praised Each Other On Their Respective Debut
Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor on multiple occasions have stated that they maintain cordial relations, and wish nothing but the best for each other.
2018 was an important year for Bollywood as it marked the entry of two popular actresses – Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. While the former made her debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, the latter made her debut with Marathi film Sairat’s Hindi remake Dhadak. Both these actresses, who are also star kids, were often compared in the media. However, owing to their performances so far, they have both created a spot for themselves in the industry.
Sara and Janhvi on multiple occasions have stated that they maintain cordial relations, and wish nothing but the best for each other. As per the reports, ahead of Sara’s debut, Janhvi was asked if she’d like to give some tips to the debutante. In response, she said, “I am very excited (for her debut), as a friend and as an audience member.” She further added that she loved Kedarnath’s trailer as well as Sara’s performance in the song Sweetheart and that she does not have any tips for her.

Actress Sara Ali Khan was also asked about her ‘competitor’ Janhvi, while she was promoting her film Kedarnath. A journalist asked her if there is going to be any face off for the best debut award between Janhvi and Sara. In response, the actress said, “Not at all…I think all of us are here to do our jobs and we are really no one to decide. She (Janhvi) has done amazingly, I saw Dhadak and I thought she was fantastic. Everybody has loved her work and I hope people like my work too.”

As it turns out, Janhvi was once even asked who is the most beautiful among all her contemporaries. ‘Among Suhana Khan, Ananya Pandey, Shanaya Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, who is the most beautiful?’ was the question. To this, she said, “All of them are very beautiful. They all have individuality and qualities of their own which others may not have. So, we should celebrate them all. It is not like only one among them is beautiful whereas others are not..”

Janhvi Kapoor will reportedly be next seen in Dostana 2 and Good Luck Jerry. Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, will be next seen in Atrangi Re alongside Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
