Ummadi Kutumbam tho Kammati Bhojanam: Highlights from the show that made it a memorable one!

Ugadi came a little early this year with the Zee Telugu show Ummadi Kutumbam tho Kammati Bhojanam and while there were many things to look forward to in the show, here are the best takeaways from the show that we are going to cherish.

1) Jalebi and Bathai as electorial candidates

This year’s Ugadi event had the most unique start ever. While elections are a little away, in this universe it is all set to be held right at the end of the episode. To our surprise, Jani master and Prudhvi are seen contesting against each other as Jalebi Jani and Bathai Babu, already leading the show to a great start.

2) Niharika trying to tell us why she is voting

Naga Babu’s daughter Niharika graced the event as a judge who would be casting her vote for the elections. She tries to explain in pure Telugu why she wants to cast a vote, and her attempts are hilarious!

3) Chinni Prakash Master and Rekha Chinni Prakash’s performance

Chinni Prakash master and Rekha Chinni’s performance proves that the couple is still young at heart. Their performance was adorable but the advice that Prakash master had for Pradeep for his marriage was not something you would expect from this sweet couple. They elevated the show’s energy!

4) Chandra and Niharika’s hilarious skit

Niharika was a complete sport as she agreed to become a part of the skit that Chandra was putting up. In the skit, he calls her home for lunch, but will she be able to eat anything? This will only be answered once you watch the skit! Niharika has amazing comic timing and this skit is proof!

5) Manchu Lakshmi and Nirvana’s emotional skit

Manchu Lakshmi and Nirvana put up an emotional skit portraying the relationship of a mother and daughter. This was the first time that Manchu Lakshmi and her daughter were performing together on the stage. Needless to say, they did a fantastic job and will make you shed some tears too.

6) Venu’s skit that had us in splits

There was never a time that Venu was on the stage and he did not have you in splits. The same goes for the skit that he put up this time. As a little surprise for the audience, even Prudhvi was a part of the play. The audience could hardly get over how hilarious it was!

7) Anjali trying to explain Ugadi Pachchadi’s recipe and making it

Anjali and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar took to the stage to teach us how to make the Ugadi Pacchadi, and it was endearingly funny. They tried their best to make this dish and passed with flying colours at this task. This whole bit is unmissable and is certainly the highlight of this event!

8) Sahiti’s  energetic performance

One of the performers on the show was Sahiti, who shook a leg to the folk song Saranga Dariya. She nailed it perfectly and raised the energy levels of the room. Jani master had to himself come to the stage, in order to express how he felt about her!

9) Shyama Harini’s stand up

Stand-up comedy was relatively new on the stages of Zee Telugu but Shyama Harini left us wanting more of it as she performed her set. The set was one of the highlights of the show and she had a great command over her audiences!
