Yes! The lead pair from the popular Telugu TV show Maate Mantramu, Vamsi and Vasundhara, (played by Ali Reza and Pallavi Ramisetty) are finally a couple and after almost a year, our dream has come true and how! Without any further ado, let’s take a look at how everything happened.

After the long hunt and connecting the dots, Vamsi found out how Ayirendri was the culprit behind everything and made sure the whole family knows of her true side. Once everyone in the family knew that Vasundhara was indeed his ‘heart friend’, he called Vasundhara and told her that he has found his ‘heart friend’. When Vasundhara insisted on meeting her, Vamsi invited her to the guest house immediately.

Vasundhara reaches the guest house and finds Vamsi waiting outside for her. He tells her that it’s time to meet the girl of his dreams and adds that Vasundhara is the one who deserves to know who she is. He extends his hand to escort her inside, but Vasundhara hesitates and walks ahead. Vamsi turns around and thinks to himself that in just a few moments he will be holding her hand forever.

Vasundhara walks ahead and sees a mirror that has a heart made on it with roses. She is taken aback by it but starts calling out to ‘Radha’ and gets no response.

By the time Vasundhara shakes herself out of the mirror gesture, Vamsi had lit candles on the tea-poy that spelled ‘Vasu’. Vasundhara turns around calling out to Radha but stops midway. And that’s because she is blown away by this gesture. *just like us*

Before she can say anything else, Vamsi goes down on one knee with a heart-shaped balloon in his hand. He tells Vasundhara that their breaths have been caged together in one heart and it’s time for them to become one, too. *It’s okay! Lets those tears out!*

Vamsi reminds her how they are destined to be together and the universe has been giving hints about it for a long time. He takes out a rare silver coin with inscriptions on it, that his childhood ‘heart friend’ Radha had given him.

Next, Vamsi shows Vasundhara the lagna patrika that was written when his marriage was being discussed with the pandits. He shows her that it was not Nakshatra’s but her name written next to his and they must marry on the same day and time.

Vamsi asks Vasundhara why she had kept the truth hidden from him all along. Despite seeing him in pain and confusion, why did she choose to remain silent? Vasundhara’s tears do the talking because she couldn’t hide the love for Vamsi inside her anymore. Finally, she says that she thought of it many times, but the words refused to come out.
