My dad’s side is Punjabi while my mom’s side Bihari, so 2 states was going on outside. It was kind of illness, births, and death kind of things brings a family closer and the film was about that.”

During an award function, when Priyanka didn’t win an award, she said, “I think it’s the jury that decides and every person has their own opinion so some will be happy some won’t but an award is an award.” She mentioned some actresses’ names like Kangana, Rani, Alia, Tabu’s performances and said that they all were fabulous and you can’t deny this year was of ladies hands down.
